Predeceased by her husband Stjepan (2007), loving son Michael (2019) and granddaughter Lauren (1989). Cherished mother of Carol Paul (Bill), and Joe Sorman (Sue). Proud Baka of Rosmarie Vrataric (Richard), Joanne Radencich (Mike), Joshua Sorman (Elyse), Devan Sorman, and Sharisse Madjar (Denis). Pra-Baka of Johnny, Maximus, Nash, and Lincoln. Sister of Dragica Cavlovic (the late Zvonko) and the late Franjo Staresincic of Croatia. Sister-in-law of Bozena Sorman and Stefica Siktar. Slavica will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends in Canada and Croatia. Fondly remembered by Steve Bilicic. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday, June 17, 2021 from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East on Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mountview Gardens Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be available to view at 11 a.m. by logging on to Holy Cross Croatian RC Church Facebook page, facebook.com/holycrosscroatian. If desired, donations to the McNally House Hospice would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
