

Passed away suddenly on January 22, 2014 at the Juravinski Hospital at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Betty. Beloved father of Susan Danio, Donna (Pat) Doucette, Debbie (Frank) Dorombozi and Stephen (Mona) Koziski. Will be deeply missed by his caring and devoted wife Olga and her children Ihor (Marg) Pick, Luba (Don) Cherry, Walter (Adele) Pick and Peter Pick. Cherished grandfather of Shawn, Valerion, Ron, Roy, Alex and Jen. Dear great-grandfather of Braydan, Joshua and Henry. Predeceased by his brothers John, Joe, Peter and Mike and sisters Julia Nelson and Adeline Korchinski. Survived by brother Nestor Koziski and sisters Rose Mudry, Mary Semkowicz, Anne Nelson, Olga (Mike) Boyda, Tessie Diakow and brother-in-law Roy Nelson. As well as many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Stan was known by all for his gentle nature. He also founded Precision Sharpening in 1959 and was a long time member of the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection. Family will receive friends at CRESMOUNT FUNERAL HOME, 322 Fennell Ave. E., on Sunday, January 26th from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. with Panachyda at 7 p.m. Funeral Mass will take place at Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Resurrection, 821 Upper Wentworth St., on Monday, January 27th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mt. Hamilton Cemetery. Immediately followed by a reception at Cresmount Upper James Chapel, 1020 Upper James St. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
