Passed away peacefully at the Hamilton General Hospital on January 9, 2017 at the age of 89. Predeceased by his wife Gabriela, sisters Rosalie (Vlajko), Irinka (Franu) and brother August. Cherished brother to Dragica (Rudi) and Trezika (Viktor). Loving father of Gina (Allan), Andy (Margaret), Steve (Stephanie); proud grandfather of Adriana (Giles), Stephanie (Rino), Anthony (Nikki), Craig (Desiree), August, Andrew and Mason. Great grandfather of Roman. Stefan was a proud 35 year employee of Stelco. Stefan will be missed by his many family members and friends in Croatia. Visitation will be held at MARKEY DERMODY FUNERAL HOME 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 1-4 p.m. Prayers at 4 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Church on Thursday, January 12, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery - Our Lady of Victory Mausoleum.
