Beloved wife to the late Walter (1975). Loving mother to Peter, Stephen (Sharron) and the late Paul (1989). Cherished Baba to Guy (Lisa), Walter, Mark (Sarai), Michael and Rebecca and Babcia to Logan, Samantha, Owen and Mia. Predeceased by her parents William and Anna Kurpel. Dear sister to Helen Kress, Donald Kurpel (Geri), the late Olga Pankiw (Andrew), the late Peter Kurpel, the late Mary Yaremy, and the late John Kurpel (Betty). She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and close friends. A heartfelt thank you to her dear friends, Sonia Halyk and Sophie Pidsadny for their care and support of Stella.
Her family will receive friends at the Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. E. on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday night at 7p.m. Panychyda to be officiated by Rev. Renaldo Kekis. Funeral service will be held at the Ukrainian Church of the Resurrection on Monday, April 17th at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
