Peacefully at his home on Sunday, April 8, 2012 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Maria and his late wife Vera. Loving father of Emily Borsc and Tom Bodnar. Cherished grandfather of Brian (Kim), Tom and great-grandfather of Jeremy and Christopher. Special uncle of Marta Holfeuer, Daniella Chovancova and great-uncle of Michelle, Jessica and Jacob. Steve was a longtime employee of Dofasco for over 30 years. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm with Vigil Prayers at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cyril and Methodius Slovak Church, 204 Park Street North, on Friday, April 13, 2012 at 10:30am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to St. Cyril and Methodius Church.
