Steve immigrated to Canada in 1958, where he built a life through hard work and dedication. He spent over 30 years as a crane operator at Dofasco before retiring.
Predeceased by his wife, Barbara. Steve is lovingly remembered by his children, Steve Gunjilac Jr. (Darinka) and Mira Domjancic (predeceased by her husband John), his grandchildren Nicholas, Adam (Ivona), Stefanie (Blake) and great grandchildren Anabel, Nikolas along with extended family and many friends.
Steve will be remembered for his strong work ethic and zest for life. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation at Markey Dermody Funeral Home, 1774 King Street East, Hamilton on Wednesday, September 30 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Croatian Catholic Church, 1883 King Street East, Hamilton, on Thursday, October 1 at 10 a.m. Burial to follow at Mountview Gardens. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Shalom Village Hamilton care facility.
