Susan Ruth Elizabeth Beals

Daughter of William and Edna (Kidd) Roulston of Toronto (both deceased). Loving sister to Laura (Gouk) and Bob (both deceased). Beloved wife of George for 52 years, and mother to Daniel, Aaron (Shireen) and Sherry. Forever Nana to Nate, Josh and Solomon. She also loved her cat, Beau, dearly and he was such an important part of her life over the past couple of years.

She was the very best of all things. Loving and supportive, funny and adventurous. She lived her faith, and was very involved with the church, both through George’s ministry, and also through her own dedication and causes. She was actively involved in all of the communities in which she had lived – Alberton (PEI), Madoc (ON), Richmond Hill (ON), and Hamilton (ON). An incredible friend to so many, she was the most patient of listeners, and always knew how to be heard without needing to be the centre of attention. She was a constant source of support and strength for those around her and loved unconditionally in the most sincere of ways. She had an incredible sense of humour and loved to laugh. She will be dearly missed.

A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A memorial service will occur Monday, March 27, 2023 at 3:30 PM. Both the visitation and memorial service will be held at Marlatt Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 615 Main Street East (east of Sanford Ave.), Hamilton, ON L8M 1J4.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to St. David’s Presbyterian Church Hamilton or Diabetes Canada.
