It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mom on February 26, 2017 in her 81st year. Beloved wife of 49 years of the late Walter. Loving mom of Dan (Alison) and Kasia (Jorge) and stepmom of Terry and the late Zennon. Caring grandmother of seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Paul. Visitation at MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth) on Friday from 6-9 pm with Panachyda at 8 pm. where the Funeral Service will take place on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12 noon. Cremation to follow. Donations in Vera’s memory may be made to Ovarian Cancer Canada.
