Beloved son of Gail Sayles and the late Vernon Jacques Sr. (2000). Father of Quentin Battyanyi. Brother of Lisa Almonte and uncle of Veronica Almonte. Scott will be remembered and missed by his aunts, uncles, extended family, and many friends. Scott had a passion for roller-skating and BMX racing and spent countless hours enjoying both with his friends. He especially loved gathering at Bayfront Park (Pier 8), where he shared many memorable days skating. Known for his infectious personality and sense of fun, Scott was often the life of the party. His laughter and ability to bring people together will be remembered by those who knew him.
Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Scott's life at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Avenue East, on Monday, July 27, 2026—what would have been Scott's 54th birthday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Scott's memory may be made to the Hamilton/Burlington SPCA.
