It is with deep sadness and loving remembrance that we announce the passing of Vinnette Rosemarie Emamali (née Mohammed), a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, caregiver, and woman of unwavering faith.
Born in Trinidad and Tobago on September 24, 1943, Vinnette built her life on love, compassion, and service to others. In 1974, she immigrated to Canada, where she created a home filled with warmth, kindness, and cherished memories for her family.
Vinnette was predeceased by her beloved husband, Anthony Joseph Emamali, and her cherished son, David Emamali. She leaves behind a loving family who will forever treasure her memory: her children Gizelle, Johann, Kirk, and Tonya; 14 beloved grandchildren; and 21 precious great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense joy and pride.
A dedicated Personal Support Worker, Vinnette spent many years caring for both adults and children with exceptional compassion, patience, and dignity. She touched countless lives through her gentle spirit and selfless commitment to helping others.
Above all else, Vinnette was devoted to her family and to God. Her faith was the foundation of her life, guiding her with grace, strength, and unwavering love. She welcomed everyone with open arms, a generous heart, and the most beautiful smile that could brighten any room.
Vinnette also had a wonderful sense of style. She loved dressing up and carried herself with elegance and confidence, always looking her best. Her radiant smile and vibrant spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though our hearts are heavy with grief, we find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love, faith, kindness, and compassion lives on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and all whose lives she touched.
Forever loved, forever remembered, and forever in our hearts.
