Virginia Rita Gallo

GALLO, Regina Rita (Virginia) nee Cissar Born: January 9, 1921, Thunder Bay, Ontario. At St. Peter's Hospital on November 1, 2012, embraced by love and prayers of family and caregivers, our Mother, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother left us to "Go to Heaven". Estranged spouse of Emilio Gallo (1980, Vancouver, BC), cherished Mother of Connie and Tony Bardati and Frank and Pat Gallo. Regina will be sadly missed by her much loved Grandchildren, Sandra and Ed Kuipers, Paul and Tania Bardati, Natalie Gallo and David Hanley. Adored "Nana Pizzelle" of four Great-Grandsons, Josh and Jordon Kuipers and Jacob and Nathan Bardati. Predeceased by six brothers and two sisters. Regina was a retired employee of Loblaws. Mom was a woman of devout faith and daily prayer and an active member of the CWL for several years. She graciously gave to many organizations and those in need. We were all blessed with our own gourmet chef as her Perogies, baked goodies and Pizzelles were the best! Resting at Cresmount Funeral Home, 322 Fennell Ave. East. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 4, 2012 from 4 - 9 p.m. with prayer service at 8:15 p.m. Please join us in a Celebration of her Christian Life at St. Margaret Mary Parish on Monday, November 5th at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow.
