The family of William Marvin Farewell sadly announce his passing on January 14, 2011 at McMaster Hospital in his 75th year. Predeceased by his beloved wife Judy, his parents Marvin and Isabel Farewell, his brother James Farewell and his sister Elaine Harrison. Loving father of John (Sylvia). Beloved grandfather of Kirsten, Kelsey and Karina. He will be sadly missed by his many family members and friends. Bill was Vice President of Finance at Pennington’s for many years until his retirement. Friends may call at the MARLATT FUNERAL HOME, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton on Friday, January 21st from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, January 22nd at 1 p.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, as expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
