SPENCE, William - Suddenly at home, on Monday, April 17, 2006, in his 85th year. Loving husband of Mary Ann (predeceased May 24, 1989). Loving father of Freda Stewart (Darrell) and Shelley Bourdeau (Steve). Grandpa of Ashley, Spencer, Meagan and Michael. William will be missed by his large family circle in Belfast, Northern Ireland. He was retired after over 25 years as a machinist with Otis Elevator. Family will greet friends on Friday, April 21, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the MARKEY-DERMODY FUNERAL HOME, 1774 King Street East (at Kenilworth). A Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 22, 2006 at New Westminster Presbyterian Church (King and Melrose) with interment to follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Arthritis Society would be appreciated.
