Thinking of you all as you celebrate Zena’s remarkable life. I remember the first time I met Zena. I formally introduced myself and shook her hand. She replied with her name Zena, but to call her Baba. That was a heartfelt welcome that I will never forget.

Baba is an amazing lady, and I feel privileged to have met her. I know you will miss her deeply. I’ll be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

My sincerest condolences to the Baraniak family. Pani Baraniak was in my house daily, when I was a child. She was my mother's best friend. I remember her kindness and sharp wit. I am so glad her family was with her in her final moments. You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time.

I send my sincere condolences to all of the family. I have so many fond memories of our old neighbours the Baraniaks. Pani Baraniak ( as I have called her my whole life) was a wonderful friend to my late mother. Coffee and conversation was an everyday occurrence at our house! I am happy that she could live to this wonderful age in peace and comfort. God rest her soul.
