Alfred was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years, Nita Belle Crawford and his parents. He is survived by his daughters, Barbara JoAnn Wydman and husband, Byron Jr., and Lana Crawford Davis and husband, James T.; grandchildren, Donald Eric Duncan, David Carl Duncan, Heather Leigh Coryer, James Terrell Davis II, and Byron Albert Wydman III; and great-grandchildren, Dorothy Marie Duncan, Erika Marie Duncan, Michael Roland Coryer, James Eben Davis, Nathan Leonard Coryer, Eleanor Christine Davis, Samuel Spink Davis, and Camden Maxwell Davis.
