He was a resident of Hampton, Va for 40 years where he retired as a Lineman for Cox Communications. Earlier in life, Ace served two terms in Vietnam and was a proud Army veteran and member of VFW.
He is preceded in rest by his father, Otis Horton; mother, Freda Horton; sister, Charlotte Horton; and niece, Jennifer Sayers Dye. Ace is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Deborah Horton; two sons, Jeremy A. Horton and Jason W. Horton; daughter, Tabatha Louise Byrd; six grandchildren, Mikayla "Max" Horton, Nash Horton, Miranda Horton, Nevaeh Hayes, Ayden Hayes, and Allisyn Hayes; sister, Tracey Horton; and several nieces and nephews.
Ace will truly be missed by many.
