

Betty retired from Montgomery Wards after 17 years. She was a certified Gemologist, Officer of Elections and a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
She was preceded in rest by her husband, Arthur Caldwell and son, David Caldwell. She is survived by son, Edward Caldwell of Hampton; daughter, Pamela Robinson of Ellicott City, Virginia; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Deanna Smith of Catawba, Virginia, Fay Bovis of Montgomery, Texas, Audrey Doyle of Roanoke, Virginia; and brother, Sammy Doyle of Morriston, Florida.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, April 14, 2017 at Sharon Baptist Church followed by a celebration of Betty’s life at 12:00 pm in the church. Interment will follow at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to Sharon Baptist Church in Hampton.
