Billy Lake Lloyd

Billy L. Lloyd, age 74, passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at the Gardens of Warwick Forest. He was born in Erwin, Tennessee, and was a resident of the Peninsula for 57 years. Billy was a member of Temple Baptist Church and on the church’s homebound list. He also served honorably in the U.S. Army.

Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Sarah Lloyd; sister, Phyllis White, and brother, David Lloyd.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 50 years, Jessie V. Lloyd; daughter, Tammy S. Sheetz ; son, Timothy Scott Lloyd; grandson, Joshua Thomas Sheetz; two sisters, Joyce Vieno and Vickie Wright; and multiple nieces and nephews.

The family will welcome all visitors at the residence. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Hampton-Veterans Memorial Gardens, officiated by Dr. Wayne Cook.
