A native of Hampton, Brady was born on December 30, 1953 to Brady G. and Margie C. Steele. He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, and he graduated from Hampton High School before starting a life-long career with the City of Hampton as a copy machine and mailroom technician. He retired in 2010 after 31 years of service.
He was well loved by his family, friends, and colleagues, and he enjoyed spending his retirement years with his best friend, Patches the Cat.
He is preceded in rest by his parents, and he leaves behind his aunts: Mary C. Hall, Betty C. Smith, and Ella C. Wilkerson; and his cousins: Terri S. Carter (Jeffrey), W. Steven Smith (Debra), Taylor Smith, Emily Carter, and Davis Carter.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Parklawn Memorial Park, 2551 North Armistead Avenue Hampton, VA 23666.
