Obituary of Brandon Scott Chandler
Brandon Scott Chandler, 36, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021. A native of Corsicana, TX, he and his family had recently relocated to Williamsburg, VA. Brandon worked as an MQ-9 Evaluator for the U.S. Air Force (AF) and held the following decorations: Meritorious Service Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, AF Commendation Medal, AF Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Award, AF Outstanding Unit Award, Combat Readiness Medal, AF Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, AF Expeditionary Service Ribbon with Gold Border, AF Longevity Service, USAF NCO Professional Military Education Graduate Ribbon, AF Training Ribbon, and the NATO Medal. He is preceded in rest by his paternal grandparents, Nadine and Waymon Chandler; and his maternal grandfather, Jack Haley. Brandon is survived by his loving wife of 16 years, Andrea R. Chandler; daughters, Maya P. Chandler and Audrey G. Chandler; father, Darrell S. Chandler, mother, Angie R. McLean; brother, Patrick McLean; sister, Megan McLean; grandmother, Linda Haley; stepfather, Daniel S. McLean; stepmother, Stephanie Chandler; and many other family and friends that will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA 23666. A Celebration of Life service will follow with full Military Honors. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, attendance will be limited but the service will be available to be viewed on Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home's Facebook Page.
