She was a 1973 graduate of Hampton High School and worked for First Team Hampton Chevrolet for over 48 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Hiram and Mildred Bowers and brother Scotty Bowers.
She leaves to cherish her memory her siblings Jim (Merilyn), Will (Michelle), Carolyn, and sister-in-law Dianne. Her nieces and nephews James, Nathan, Becky, Susan, Amber, Robert, Sarah, Leilani, Jesse, Mikayla, and Joey were her pride and joy. Cathy had a huge group of loving and supportive family and friends.
She was a lifetime member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church where she served on the vestry, the mission team, was a Sunday school teacher, the church treasurer, and a beloved youth leader.
A memorial service will be held at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 179 E. Mercury Blvd., Hampton, at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 6, Rev. Rhonda Wheeler presiding.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Emmanuel Episcopal Church.
