Clyde was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Braswell; his father, Clyde G. Burcher; and step-father, Robie Braswell. He leaves to celebrate his life his dearest love, Rebecca Adams; his brother, Lee and wife Flewellen; two nephews; one niece; and seven great-nieces and nephews.
Clyde was a foreman with Newport News Shipbuilding for 43 years. He was a kind and generous man, always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved Rebecca’s grandchildren, Dylan and Tristan and will be sadly missed by them.
A celebration of Clyde’s life will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home.
