Dana Elaine Jensen

Gone from our site, forever in our hearts. Dana Elaine Jensen, 59, went to be with our Lord on Feb. 11, 2013. She was born in Fresno, CA but called Virginia her home. Dana loved trains and cooking. She graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in culinary arts. She was a member of the LPGA getting her start by playing on many golf courses with her father. She was a highly decorated retired AF Master Sergeant w/ 24yrs of service and was a bronze star recipient. She currently worked as a Logistics Coordinator for Cubic Corp.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Janelle Ellis Niemietz, step-sister, Delilah Debrow, step-brother, Joseph Bernstein and her Virginia mother Mildred Williams. She leaves behind to honor her memory her best friend, Tammy Williams, Son, Benjamin Williams, both of Hampton, Father and Step-Mother, Norman and Geri Jensen of CA, Step-Father Earnest "Steve" Niemietz of WA, 2 brothers, Dan Jensen (Heidi) of NM, and John Jensen (Lisa) of CA .

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at St. Marks Episcopal Church - 2605 Cunningham Drive, Hampton, VA 23666 conducted by Rev. Peggy Buelow. Memorial Contributions may be made to CHKD.
