Dennis Lee Parrott passed away at age 66 on January 16, 2013 in Hampton, Virginia, after a long battle with cancer. Born in West Virginia, he was adopted by Roy and Geneva Parrott of Barbourville, Kentucky.
Dennis served in our U.S. Armed Forces for 11 years, which included two tours to Vietnam. After the military, he settled in Virginia and eventually retired from the Newport News Shipyard. Dennis loved the Lord, valued his church home, and adored his precious dog, "Lady."
He is survived by his former wife, Charlotte Parrott; his children, Twana Renee Brown, Bianca, and Danyale; grandchildren, Jenea, Aubrey, Caleb, Deja Parrott; and Tynika McNair, along with many other friends.
A celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
