Diane Marie Cooper

Diane Marie Loiselle Cooper, 65, passed away on Monday, May 3, 2021. She was born in Biloxi, MS, but as an Air Force brat & then spouse, she lived throughout the US as well as Japan & Norway, before settling with her family in Hampton, VA for the past 34 years. Diane retired from the Postal Service after 22 years, worked at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University Library for many years and was a proud mother, sister, daughter, wife, baker, librarian, listener, and lover of all things purple. Diane is preceded in death by her daughter, Janelle Cooper; mother, Phyllis Kearney; and father, Gordon Loiselle. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Gary Cooper; sons, Jason Cooper and Jeremy Cooper; grandchildren, Peter, Michael, Liam, and Chase; brothers, Sam Loiselle, John Loiselle; sisters, Linda Loiselle-Kampa, and Yvonne "Ducky" Loiselle Hyatt. There will be a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton, VA, 23666.
