It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doris June Nixon on May 8, 2026. She joined the Lord from her home surrounded with love. Doris was preceded in death by her husband Phillip Nixon, her sister Linda Kathburn, great grandson Cameron William, and her parents Frank McKinney and Mildred McKinney.
Doris took great pride in her family and art. She leave behind 6 children; Linda Crandol, Lisa Strait, Wendy Hughes and husband, Rhonda Puchaty, Timothy Crandol and wife, and Karen Ivey and husband. She also leaves behind numbers grandchildren, great grand children, a niece and nephew and their children. Doris loved watching all of them grow and listening to the memories that made her laugh. Doris was an exceptional artist! She enjoyed painting landscapes.
Doris had a love that reached many lives and will be greatly missed. She was loved by many and will never be forgotten. She will always be Jennifer's favorite.
