She was a Secretary at Langley Air Force Base for 40yrs. At the time of her passing, she was still employed and had not yet retired. She had hopes of getting better and returning to work with her friends and colleagues.
She was preceded in death by her Mother, Edith A. Baldwin, a native of Lumberton, NC and her Father Eugene Baldwin Sr., a native of Hewlett, Long Island, NY.
She leaves behind her only child and best friend, Tricia Bradley of Newport News.
She also leaves behind her grand-dog Zoey. She would enjoy visiting her as she wanted to be called “Nanny” instead of Grandma.
Mother and daughter enjoyed each other’s company, they would do everything together. Shopping, yardwork, handy-work if needed at each other’s homes.
She enjoyed dinner together a couple of times a week to check in on each other and to see her friends.
She also enjoyed seeing Christmas lights in neighborhoods like her parents would do when she was a kid. She spoiled her grand-dog with treats and her special ice water from Chic-fila and an ice cream cup.
Her infectious laugh, wit, charm, will be missed by her daughter, friends and colleagues.
Her daughter would like to thank Riverside Peninsula Cancer Institute and Infusion Center for taking such good care of her mom.
Tricia will receive friends and colleagues on Saturday, June 7th from 12PM to 3:30pm at Liberty Baptist Church in Hampton.
Kay has requested that you make donations to the American Cancer Society.
