I only knew Garrett for a short time but he made an impact nontheless. He welcomed Evee and I into the Challenger family as if we'd always been there. Every time we saw him he greeted us with a warm smile, jokes, and laughter. Garrett Carrot, thank you for opening your heart to us. We will miss you. Jeff, Karen, Josh, and Joe: my heart goes out to you. I pray you will feel his spirit with you always.

I have so many great memories with Garrett it's hard to pick one to write about. We met working together at Rue 21 back in 2017 but my favorite memory has to be out Valentine's day date back in 2020. We spent the whole day together in Richmond going on all sorts of adventures. We froze as we walked around Belle Isle. We went to a bunch of different stores. He took the best pictures of me I've ever gotten that day at Hollywood Cemetery. Then we had a cute date at the Galaxy Diner. Then to finish it off we went to the Falling in Reverse concert together and that was the best concert I've ever been to. I'm so glad I got to share this day with him, it's a memory I'll treasure forever. Garrett was such a great friend and always knew how to light up a room. He was the life of the party with a smile I can never forget! I wish I got to hang out with him just one more time. I am honored to be able to have called him my friend and will cherish our friendship for the rest of my life. 💕 Love you Bestie, Rest easy 🕊️

I remember Garrett as a real cut-up.  He had a smile that made you wonder what he was up to.  My heart goes out to you guys. I pray God's comfort and perfect peace  to you both.

Incredibly saddened and heartbroken over your loss. Garrett was full of life no matter what situation he was experiencing. I remember learning all about diabetes and insulin and counting carbs and free foods and math and Karen and Jeff trusted me to care for him many times.  He always made me laugh and had so many funny comments and let me not forget his facial expressions to go with them! Still remember when he called Karen on Alexa lol that was one of my favorite memories. Teaching him how to ski and G going down that mountain like a bullet ! Challenge accepted was Garretts motto with everything from skiing to diabetes to a multitude of health problems , to relationships....he accepted them all head on. Garrett, we will miss you and hold you forever and ever in our hearts. Joe, Karen , Jeff and Josh.......much love to each of you as you navigate through this immense grief.

Honestly not sure where to start or what to say. I’ve known Garrett most of his life having been stationed with Jeff on numerous occasions. Garrett was always such a good kid. My heart goes out to Karen, Jeff and Josh. God Bless!

I remember my sweet Garrett inviting me to his 7th birthday party, then soon after I got to invite him to my wedding. Here he is dancing at my wedding with my Dad.  He was always so kind.

JoJo, I am so truly sorry for Garrett's passing.He was such a kind and loving soul. I'm really glad i got to know such a great person.  Even though  he loved to scare me at work he always said, "I love you."   Love you too, Garrett!  I will miss you. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.
