Andy was a retired parts associate with the city of Hampton and had been employed for last two years with Casey Kia. He was an avid fan of NASCAR.
Andy was a gentle and giving individual in life and left this world with a donation of his corneas through LifeNet.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Linwood A. and Doris Overby Burton. He is survived by his sister and her husband, Jean and Rick Daniels; his love of 24 years, Peggy Peoples; nephew, Brian Wutch; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins; and many very close friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2013, at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Andy’s life will be held at 3:00 pm on Thursday, November 7, at the chapel in Parklawn Memorial Park.
