Obituary of Jahhiyah J. White
Jahhiyah Jeffrey White, age 21, of Hampton, Virginia gained his angel wings on Sunday, January 16, 2022. Jahhiyah was born in Newport News, Virginia on September 5, 2000, to Kesha DuBrey and Jeffrey L. White. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Rose Ann White and Jeffrey White, his cousins Ralpheal Davis, Jr. and Rory Shawn White, and a close friend Zaquone Scott. As a youth Jahhiyah enjoyed sports, video games, and all outdoor activities. He began boxing at 7 Cities Boxing in Virginia Beach Virginia at the age of 6 and also spent time playing football and basketball for Aberdeen. As he grew a little older, he discovered his love for music. Music was like medicine to him; whether he was listening to beats, writing, recording, or just privately listening to tunes, it always uplifted him. Whether it was becoming a rapper or creating his own business, Jahhiyah had very big dreams and wanted nothing more than to pave a way for himself and those closest to him. Jahhiyah was a family man. He had a huge heart, with a whole lot of love to give. No matter his circumstances, he always supported and wished the best for our whole family, near and far. Jahhiyah prioritized joy and laughter, and he encouraged everyone around him to do the same. He spent most of his free time gathering with family and close friends. Jahhiyah believed all days were worth celebrating. Jahhiyah Jeffrey White is survived by his parents Kesha DuBrey and Jeffrey L. White, his sister Kiantee White, Destenie White, and Ceyahni White, his brother Tyree Campbell, his grandparents Linda DuBrey and Ronald Mason, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Although we will miss him greatly, we will cherish all the good times, profound conversations, and deep laughs forever.
