Janet is survived by her dear children, Christine Cupp, Matthew Merrill, Jayson Merrill, her stepson, Randy Cupp, their families including 8 beloved grandchildren, her parents, sisters and many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her dearly and cherish her memory.
Janet, a long time resident of Newport News, was devoted to her family, had many friends and touched the lives of many Newport News families and children. Her life was characterized by love, laughter, and little children - all of whom she loved as her own. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with a viewing one hour prior.
