Jeremiah Thomas DuBose

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeremiah Thomas DuBose on May 1st. Jeremiah (Jeremy) was born on Feb 13, 1985. He attended school in Hampton and split his time growing up between Gloucester and Hampton. Jeremy was a very caring and thoughtful young man. He was a gifted carpenter and loved working with his hands. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved his dog, working out and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his parents, Ruth Hathaway and Tommy DuBose and his fiancé, Heather Mercer. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 7 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Interment at St. John’s Episcopal Cemetery. In lieu at flowers please make donations to the American Cancer Society.
