

Jesse was an electrical engineer with the Federal Government- SPAWAR Yorktown Naval Weapons Station and retired September 30, 2005 after 40 years of service.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Hampton Fraternal Order of Police Associates.
Jesse was preceded in death by his fathers, Jesse W. Kochersperger, Sr. and Elwyn Jacob Eacker; and mother, Gertrude Abbott Eacker. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Kochersperger of 22 years; two sons, David D. (Cynthia) Kochersperger and Christopher A. Kochersperger; three daughters, Margaret Crayton, Heidi (Mike) Nelson, and Chelsey LaMendola; six grandchildren, Ashley Kochersperger, Kamryn Kochersperger, Josh LaMendola, Rook LaMendola, Shawn Crayton, Sierra LaMendola; two sisters, Darlene (Dave) Vanderveer and Debbie (Ted) Miller; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 23 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Jesse’s life will be held at 2 pm, Wednesday, September 24 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the National Parkinson Foundation or the Alzheimer’s Association.
