Jewell Shannon Sharpe

Jewell Shannon Sharpe, 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2014. She was born in Baltimore, MD and was a resident of Hampton for 65 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

Preceding her in rest is her husband, John W. Sharpe. Surviving members of her family include her children, William G. Sharpe and wife Catherine of Smithfield, Wesley D. Sharpe and wife Lisa of Newport News, Jason J. Sharpe of Yorktown, Brian E. Sharpe and wife Laura of Hampton, and Shannon S. Harlow and husband Kevin of Seaford; grandchildren, Kelly and Justin Brod of Midlothian, Abby and Beau Bunting of Poquoson, Dylan Sharpe of Hampton, Victoria Harlow of Seaford, Kevin Reed Harlow of Seaford, Brittany Sharpe of Hampton, Patrick Sharpe of Hampton, Ann –Marie Sharpe of Hampton, Emily Smith of Hampton, Tyler Smith of Hampton, Kaitlynn Smith of Hampton, Kaileigh Smith of Hampton; great grandchildren, Jackson Brod of Midlothian, Fletcher Brod of Midlothian, Logan Brod of Midlothian, Rex Sharpe of Hampton, and Jordan Harrison of Hampton.

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, January 22, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held Thursday morning, January 23, 2014 at 11:00 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Interment will be in Parklawn Memorial Park.
