Juanita Joyce Hartmann, my wife, my sweetheart and best friend passed away suddenly, surrounded by her family after a courageous battle with her illness. She believed in Christ and was reunited in heaven with our precious son, Mark, her mother Joyce; two brothers Bob and David and her sister, Katy.
She is survived by her husband, Gunter; her son, Terry and his wife, Melinda; sister, Priscilla; brother Danny, and grandson, Zachery. Juanita’s all time favorite job was as Director of Tourism for the Williamsburg Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. It was there that she excelled and was fortunate to make lifelong friends, and whose friendship has endured. Our family extends thanks to Bruce, Phil, Rosemary Linda Jeffries, Nancy, as well as many others.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, Dec.29, from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home. A celebration of Juanita’s life will follow beginning at 2:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private.
