I have memories when we were all overseas in Okinawa, Japan at Kadena Air Force Base, 1976-1979, and I remember that Mrs. Roberts was the nicest parent of all times, and would always smile when I see her. I am Tressa Smith and I knew and went to Kubasaki High School, with majority of her children, (Ralf, Bob, Julio, and Natalie), I know there were three others.  Mrs. Roberts will always have a place in my heart forever. I feel it has been an honor to have known

I have strong memories of Mrs. Roberts while we were overseas in Okinawa, Japan, during time of 1976-1979.  My name is Tressa Smith, and I reside in Orlando, Florida now.  I member her as a neighborhood mom, and what I remember was her and Mr. Roberts being the nicest parents of all times.  I became friends with majority of the siblings, (Ralf, Bob, Julio, Natalie, and Karen), and have known and stayed in contact with them for all these years, especially our class reunions. Mrs. Roberts will always carry a place in my heart forever.

I only have great memories about Leonora, as my family called her.  My son was only two weeks old when my brother graduated from boot camp, so I could not attend.  Leonora offered to take the long road trip with my sister, Peaches (Diedra), and my mom. Later, my mom told me that they both were crying when my brother's name was called.  
Leonora also came to family events in New York, such as my sister's, Michelle, wedding, to see my son, Ruben, perform as Young Simba in the Lion King on Broadway, and other events.  I always remember looking back at Leonora and Peaches, who also, always sat side-by-side. I remember seeing both of them with tissues, wiping their eyes, and thinking, "Here they go again, 'two-pea-in-a-pot.'"

To the Roberts Family, may the Lord comfort and strengthen you.  
Mrs. Roberts was truly a beautiful woman with a beautiful, warm and kind spirit.  May memories of the best times fill your heart in this season.

To the Roberts family,

I feel so blessed to have had Aunt Lele as part of my village growing up. She was truly my mother's sister. She will be missed and always loved.  Her extraordinary personality and love reveals itself in her children.  You all have been blessed and carry a part of your mother in you.  Your love and compassion during her illness and beyond exemplifies her rearing. Uncle Ralph, I will continue to pray that you are comforted.  We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. (2 Cor 5:8)  I love you all dearly and pray that you find strength in HIM.
