Linda Jean Langdon

Linda Jean Langdon, 76, passed away on November 12, 2018. Linda was born in Conway, South Carolina on August 21, 1942 to the late Benjamin Malcolm Shelley and Ruth Edna Jones. Linda was a life-long hairdresser who enjoyed her job and clientele until her retirement. She enjoyed visiting with her family and friends after retirement. She never passed up a chance to play a black tie machine at any casino. Linda is predeceased by her husband J. Wade Langdon; son, Timothy Waters and brother Richard Shelley. Left to cherish her memory are her son George Waters (Susie); daughter Tammy Waters; stepsons Tim Langdon (Melanie), Craig Langdon; grandchildren Steven Waters (Jenny), Wesley Waters (Ellen), Kyle Waters, Katie Bell (Keenan), Nikki Campbell (Joey), Stephanie Langdon; four great grandchildren; siblings William Shelley, Cheryl Blake (Don), Jenny Dye (Doug), James Shelley (Sue) and Benjamin Shelley (Sue). The family will receive friends at 1:30 p.m. on Sunday November 18, 2018 at First Friends Church 1062 Big Bethel Rd, Hampton, VA 23666 with a funeral service to start at 2:30 p.m. Entombment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park 2551 N. Armistead Ave Hampton, VA 23666. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be offered to the church.
