Lois Bryant Dixon

Lois Bryant Dixon, 95, passed away peacefully at her home on October 16, 2017. Born and raised in Surry, VA, and had been a Hampton resident. She lived a long life of loving and caring for others. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Marvin, Basil, and Elmer Bryant, and her husband of 39 years, Henry O. Dixon. She is survived by her sons, Donald and Glenn of Hampton; grandson, Stanton of SC; her nephew, Edwin; and nieces, Joyce and Nancy. The family wishes to thank Sentara Hospice for the wonderful care they provided, a special thank you to Brenda Wonsom, who cared for Mom the last five years. We would also like to thank Hampton Baptist Church for such wonderful support in our difficult time. There will be a memorial service at Hampton Baptist Church, 40 Kings Way Drive, Hampton at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 11, 2017, officiated by Pastor Chester Brown.
