Margaret R. Vinson, passed away at her home on April 8, 2017 after a brief illness. She was born in Hastings, PA, the daughter of the late Mary and Fred Nesdore. She married the late Frank C. Vinson on February 6, 1960 in Hampton.
Marge worked for over 30 years for the US Government in Civil Service. She was an avid lottery player and often was a winner as she “played the numbers”. She was also lucky at casinos playing the slot machines.
Marge is survived by two daughters- Rocklyn Jacobs and Leslie Terry, two grandchildren Reed Terry and Rochelle Grieco, and two great grandchildren Raylee Grieco and Maia Grieco.
The family would like to thank the Arbors at Port Warwick staff where she lived for the past 7 years and her hospice care givers who took care of her in her final days.
Services will be held at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave Hampton, VA on Wednesday April 12th at 10am preceded by a viewing starting at 9am.
