She was a 1936 graduate of Poquoson High School. She retired from Elizabeth Beauty Shop after many years of service. As a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Poquoson she was a faithful member of the Ladies Bible Class and the Josephine Boullifant Women’s Circle. Her hobbies and interests included crocheting, creating flower arrangements, and working in the yard with plants and flowers.
Her husband, Robert Royall Lawson, and parents, Margaret Forrest and Harry W. Hopkins preceded Elizabeth in rest. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret A. Lawson and son, Robert Royall Lawson.
A celebration of Elizabeth’s life will be held graveside in Parklawn Memorial Park at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 3, 2018.
