Sue was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Hampton. She was also a lifetime PTA member as well as a past member of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Childs Ford; brothers, David Hodges, Curtis Hodges and Fred Hodges; and sister, Doris Harris. She is survived by her sons, Kenneth C. Ford and his wife, Kim of Fairfax, Virginia, and Paul L. Ford of Chesapeake, Virginia; grandchildren, Kyle K. Ford of Fairfax, Virginia, Kristopher R. Ford of Fairfax, Virginia, Connor P. Ford of Suffolk, Virginia, and Abigail L. Ford of Suffolk, Virginia.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 17, 2011 at Parklawn Memorial Park.
