She was a member of the Catholic faith and was a homemaker. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, she served during the Gulf War.
Surviving members of her family include her husband of nineteen years, Jesse B. Hightower III; daughters, Jennifer and Theresa; and mother, Sheila Greene.
A memorial Mass will be held Monday, March 12, 2012, at 10:00 a.m., at the Langley Air Force Base Chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to MDA for Myotonic Dystrophy research.
