

Born in Avery County, NC, he was the son of Norman and Carmie Clark. Paul worked as a control room operator for Dominion Power and retired after 37 years.
He was a devoted family man. He had a tremendous love for music, especially Bluegrass and Gospel. He spent his life collecting and sharing as much of this music as he could. He kept the little record shop in Floyd. VA in business by himself. He was a member and officer of the Tidewater Bluegrass Music Association for many years. His love for his family and friends was enormous. He was a man that made friends everywhere he went, even to the end. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all that knew him.
He is preceded in death by his father, Norman Clark; mother, Carmie Clark; wife, Dottie Clark; and brother, Ed Clark.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Scott Dunn; four daughters, Sharon Galanakos (Koulis), Melissa Jarvis (Bucky), Jennifer Crabtree, and Carolyn Dunn Lopez; six grandchildren, Voula Galanakos, Paula Dotterweich, Rhett McWright, Kaitlyn McWright, Haley Crabtree, and Josh Crabtree; nine great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind two special women in his life, Hallie Whitecotton and Jean Clark, and a host of family members and close friends who he loved dearly.
There will be a private service at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home with burial at Parklawn Memorial Park.
