

A native of Brunswick County, N.C. and resident of Hampton, VA for sixty-four years, Rebekah was a devoted bus driver for thirty-five years with the City of Hampton and a faithful member of First United Methodist Church Fox Hill.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Homer Sanderson; daughter, Cynthia Wright; and sister, Caroline Hendrickson. Rebekah is survived by a son, Elwin Sanderson of Hampton; daughter, Pamela Duncan of Fort Myers, FL; grandchildren, Christopher Nolen of Hampton, Blaine Duncan of Ft. Myers, FL, Leighann Morzano of Boise, ID, Shelley Gilbert of Williamsburg; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Angelina Morzano of Boise, ID, Forrest and Ruby Jo Gilbert of Williamsburg; sisters, Wetona Holden of Holden Beach, N.C. and Patsy Kimbrough of Wilmington, N.C.
The family will receive friends 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Monday, July 12, 2021 at the Mausoleum Chapel in Parklawn Memorial Park with a celebration of Rebekah’s life to begin at 11:00 AM in the chapel. Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Park.
