He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Pauline; his two daughters, Joanne Hodgson and Charlene (Jeff) Read; three grandchildren, Hannah, Derek, and Sarah; as well as three great-grandchildren.
Bill served in the USAF for 26 years before retiring from RAF Lakenheath, England and settling in Hampton. He was an avid reader, golfer, and enjoyed a daily crossword puzzle.
Bill will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather and will be deeply missed by his family.
A Celebration of Life with military honors will be held on November 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
