Betty was a woman of faith and her life was built on a strong foundation of love for her husband of 57 years George and her three children; Cindy Villi, Scott Sheldon and Donald Sheldon.
Betty and her husband George also took in their nephew, Lorin McElroy, at a young age, loving and caring for him as their own. Later, while living on the family dairy, she spent her days with her ten beautiful grandchildren.
Betty lived her life solely for the betterment of her closest friends and family. She hosted countless parties and always made everyone feel warm and welcome.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents; Elmer and Mabel McElroy, her eldest brother Alfred McElroy and recently her husband George.
Betty is survived by her loving children; Cindy L. Villi, Scott G. Sheldon and Donald R. Sheldon and his wife Jennifer. She will be dearly missed by her 10 grandchildren, family and friends.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 26th from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at People’s Funeral Chapel; 501 N. Douty St, Hanford, CA 93230 and a Graveside Service, the following week on Wednesday, January 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery; 19811 S. Cedar Ave, Laton, CA 93242.
