

He was born June 3, 1924, in Coalinga to John and Grace Harrah. He moved to Lemoore in the 5th grade. Bill served proudly in the U.S. Army during World War II, was an active member of the Elks Lodge in Oceano, CA; the American Legion and the VFW, a proud member of the Church of the Nazarene and Pismo Creek RV Resort. He was employed by Beacon Oil Company as an Operations Supervisor, retiring in 1988.
He is survived by his wife, Louise, son Timothy Harrah (Stephanie) of Hanford, daughter Fiona Abney of Tulare, sisters Barbara Stanhope and Lorraine Chastagner. Proceeded in death by daughter Kathleen Harrah, brothers: Jack, Bob, Dean, and Donald Harrah, sisters Jaunita Shuman, and Eva Harrah, and granddaughter Annona Abney. He was a proud Grandfather to Bryan Miller (Emma), Brandon Miller (Valerie), Elizabeth Gazarek (Charlie), Shawn Harrah (Diana), Brittany and Brooke Maciel, Holly Bethel, Charles and Victor Abney, and Stella Myers; 18 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at People's Funeral Chapel from 5-7pm on November 4, 2016. Funeral services will be held November 5th at 9:30 am at the Hanford Nazarene Church; 6258 E. Murphy Ave., Laton, CA 93242 followed by burial at Hanford Cemetery; 10500 S. 10th Ave., Hanford, CA 93230.
