Mr Charles Noonen

He was born in Topeka, Kansas on March 30, 1936 to Cletus and Mary Noonen. He lived in Topeka, Kansas until the age of ten when his family moved to Southern California where he was raised and educated. At the age of 17 he joined the United States Navy and served 20 years, retiring in 1970. Charles was instrumental in the implementation of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation at the base of which he was very proud of being a founding member.

Charles lived his life for his family and had great relationships with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He made sure that each one's need were filled. Charles looked forward to visiting his daughter, Patti in Maine. While there he enjoyed dining on lobster. Charles loved to build things, cook, travel and enjoyed history.

Charles moved to Kings County in 1998 to be with his twin brother, James. James passed away on February 14, 2011, ten days following Charles.

He leaves to cherish his memory, five children, Terence Noonen of Hanford, CA, James Botard and wife Terri of Chula Vista, CA, Edward James Kaanana and wife, Cassandra of Missouri, Patti Noonen of Maine and Joanne Moxley-Noonen of San Diego, CA; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
