Joe Anthony Guecho

Joe was born in Hanford, California on Saturday, September 14, 1946 to Joe Simas Guecho and Alice Theresa Netto Guecho. He was raised and educated in Hanford, graduating from Hanford High School in 1964. Joe attended College of Sequoia in Visalia for two years. He worked on the family diary alongside his father for many years. On November 11, 1992 Joe married Thea Louise Silva in Hanford, California and they have made their home in Lemoore, CA. Joe enjoyed hunting, computor games and traveling to Pismo Beach. He especially enjoyed spend with his sons. Joe was preceded in death by his father Joe in 1997, his sister-in-law Maria in 1999 and his brother Joaquin in 2000, He will be greatly missed by his family and those that knew and loved him.

Joe is survived by his wife, Thea Guecho of Lemoore, CA; his mother, Alice Azevedo and husband, Joe of Hanford, CA; two sons, Brian Guecho and Lionel Guecho, both of Tracy, CA; his daughter, Julie Silveria and husband, Jorge of Modesto, CA; stepchildren, Mary Hughes and husband, Jay of Coarsefold, CA and Anthony Hoey of Lemoore, CA; four brothers, Richard, Ron, Frank and Michael, all of Hanford, CA; his eight grandchildren, Stephanie, Brittany, Michelle, Jennifer, Sydney, Tyler, Blaze and Seneca and one great grandson, Preston.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 from 9 - 11 a.m. at St. Brigid Catholic Church at the corner of Douty and Florinda Streets in Hanford, CA. Recitation of Rosary will begin at 11 a.m. with Mass of Christian Burial immediately following. Burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Hanford, CA.
