Margaret Catherine Coelho

Margaret was born at US Naval Hospital, Oakland, California to Mary and Ray Rodarmel. After a long battle with cancer, Margaret passed away at the age of 71, at home with her grandson Johnathan Coelho by her side.

When Margaret was one, the family moved to Turlock, CA where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School. A few years later, the family moved to Hanford where she attended Thomas McCarthy School and when the family moved to Lemoore, she attended Mary Immaculate Queen School and Lemoore High School.

It was in high school where she met the love of her life, Steve Coelho. They were married in 1972 and had two children, Stevie and Nichole. Margaret and Steve started their life together in Hanford and moved to Tulare where they raised their children. As the children attended St. Aloysius School, both Margaret and Steve were busy with 4H and FFA, where Margaret brought out her love and knowledge of sewing among other things.

Amongst other jobs, Margaret worked at Sprouse-Reitz, Remar’s Clothing Store, JC Penney, and a fabric store in Visalia. In 1989 she went to work for Pacific Supply and retired from there in 2014, due to a stroke. After recovering from the stroke, Margaret and Steve continued traveling and camping, until Steve passed away in 2018.

Margaret is survived by her son Stevie Coelho (wife Jessica), daughter Nichole Wagoner (husband Charlie), grandsons Johnathan Coelho, Scott Barnes (wife Lily), Lane Coelho(fiance Kylie Bradley), Jimmy Wagoner and granddaughters Keyaura Rosander (fiance James Smith), Leah John (husband Erik), Claire Coelho, Elizabeth Wagoner, six great grandchildren and three God-children. Margaret is also survived by her sister Linda Schrack (husband Jim), and brothers Willard Rodarmel (wife Barbara) and Michael Rodarmel (wife Sharon). Multiple nieces, nephews and in-laws.

Margaret is preceded in death by her husband Steve Coelho, parents Mary and Ray Rodarmel, sisters Patty Costner and Brenda Olsen.

The Rosary will be held on February 10th at 6:00 pm at People’s Funeral Home, 501 N. Douty Street, Hanford. Graveside will be February 11th at 10:30 am at Calvary Cemetery, 11680 S. 10th Avenue, Hanford.
